Finished lens
Finished lens is an uncut ophthalmic lens, which could be cut and mounted into spectacle frame. Commonly, it has power ranging from +6.00 to –6.00 diopter with or without cylinderical power upto 2.00 diopter.
Rx prescription lens
Rx prescription lens
is an ophthalmic lens made by grinding and polishing from semi-finished lens to a specific required eye prescription power, in which generally require very high far-sight or near-sight spherical power or more than 2.00 diopter of cylinderical power.

Spheric Lens
Spherical lens is an ordinary ophthalmic lens to correct one distance, either near or far and combining with or without astigmatism error. Optical shops typically call it as ‘single vision lens’. The lens surface has symmetrical axes providing a spherically shaped surface, much like the surface of a ball.
The higher of lens power, the thicker and more curve lens would be. So optically, there would be a slight distortion of an image at the rim of lens edge on these strong powers, due to the physical phenomena of light refraction so called ‘spherical aberration’. Strong farsighted lenses affects ‘bulbous’ looking, enlarging the eyes of spectacle wearer. In opposite way, strong nearsighted lenses minify the eyes appearing smaller and beady.
Aspheric Lens
Aspherical lens is complicatedly designed to be flatter curve. The lens would be thinner and less magnification in case of convex lens and less minification in case of concave lens. It would be more benefit to get much thinner lens, when producing Aspherical design from higher refractive index of lens material.
Bifocal lens
Bifocal lens is commonly used for prebyopia, who cannot clearly see near objects or who need both far distance viewing and near viewing lenses. The lens has a noticeable segment added for Addition Power to correct near viewing, which separates between the far vision zone and the near vision segment.
Progressive lens
Progressive lens is also to correct presbyopia. The lens is sophisticatedly designed to provide continuously and gradually transition to correct from far distance viewing to near objects viewing without the conventional segment line. The lens appearance looks like single vision lens that help spectacle wearer looks younger and no need to wear in and out often. There are two designs of progressive lenses, the DiscoveryXtra, which can be used with frame height from 25 to 29mm and the Discovery, which can be used with frame height from 29 mm.
Excelite Freedom-Back side progressive
Back side progressive is specialty lens produced from new arrival technology - Free From Surfacing. Every pair of lenses will be produced for individual needs. Lens was not only designed for less distortion and more smoothly vision for easy to adapt but also increased using area 20% compared with normal progressive lens. Back side progressive is thin-beautiful and can be used with every sized of frames above25 mm.
