Mineral Lens

The mineral lens is produced from very clear glass material, especially used for optical lens, which is different from general glasses. We carefully selected the material and controlled material ratio with the accuracy to 4-digit measurement in order to get the glass material with the same index for overall piece. The special mineral lens process is about bubbles elimination from high temperature until 1,600 c of special oven, which made from platinum. In order to get very clear glass material, we add more process to adjust continuously glass material melt into one piece before cutting in many pieces. At this stage, we can make a piece of lens with the same index all over. With this quality glass material, we make mineral lens by grinding both inner and outer surface with strictly quality standard and high expertise production. Our mineral lens has the accuracy eye power that help enhance visibility at the most natural.

1. Mineral lens -White 1.52

The most commonly used glass lens with index 1.523, this type of lens’s very clear, no color, no dust and no anti-oxide and transparency. It’s not only clear and non-color for long time using but also durable for any scratch. With these features, the mineral lens has become the classical lens for century.

2. Photochromic Mineral – Photogray Extra and Photobrown Extra

The glass lens will be become darker in brighter light and return to clear in indoor. This type of lens was produced from glass material of corning who is one of the biggest photochromic material manufacturers in the world. Silver Halides was blended into glass material that made lens would changed color right after in ultraviolet ray. There are two colors that are gray – Photogray Extar and brown – Photobrown Extra that is the most popular photochromic lens for four decades.

3. Hi-Index Mineral lens – White 1.60

Non-color mineral lens with high index 1.60 can make 10% thinner compared with general mineral lens. It was recommended to use for eye power above –1.00 and + 1.00 in order to get the thinnest lens.

4. Hi-Index Mineral lens – White 1.70

Non-color mineral lens with high index 1.70 can make 20% thinner compared with general mineral lens. It was recommended to use for eye power above –2.00 and + 2.00 in order to get the thinnest lens.
