Organic Lens

Made from plastic material that we divided by monomer material into 4 categories.

1. Plastic Lens – Excelite 1.50

It's generally used but the lens will be thicker when the eye power is higher. Plastic lens –Excelite 1.50 will be recommended to use for not much high eye power from +2.00 to - 2.00

2. Photochromic Plastic Lens – Excelite SunSensors

It will be adapt to changing in light conditions, becoming a darker in brighter conditions and clearing once in more reduced lighting conditions. There are 2 colors, gray and brown, which is the most popular for sunlight protection. Photochromic lens will be changed color right after in ultraviolet ray and turn to the darkest color within 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Hi-Index Lens – Excelite 1.60/42

Plastic lens made from high index (1.60) monomer material that help reduced thickness to 20% compared with general plastic lens and will be recommended to every range of eye power. High index 1.60 material is very elastic, not easy to break or crack and very durable so it’s very suitable with rimless frames. Using Excelite 1.60/42 with rimless frame will look thinner and more beautiful than common frames.

4. Hi-Impact Resistance Lens – Excelite TVX

Plastic lens was developed from very elastic and high impact resistance material that not easy to break or crack and not have shape when broken. Lightness is the outstanding feature of this type of lens, lighter than 20% compared with other lenses that help reduce frame weight. With its high resistance impact feature, it’s suited with rimless frames and no cracked when screwing frame with lens. Excelite TVX suits with children and adult with active lifestyles who need durable and light lens.

TOG is the first manufacturer in the world, who developed high technology for Trivex material production. This technology could help us reduced finished lens inventory that we gained the outstanding technician reward for the year 2004 from Science and Technology Promotion Foundation under the Royal Pratonage.
