When focusing on a close-up object with natural head and body posture, both eyes orient towards the nasal side in the near/reading zone, not just moving largely from left to right. Discovery lenses compensate fully for this by alleviating the surface distortion on both nasal peripheries to ensure optimum binocular usability.
