Dr. Sawang Pracharktam (5 th from left), Chairman and Managing Director of Thai Optical Group Public Company Limited, the leading Thai ophthalmic optical lens manufacturer, joined the world largest optical exhibition, MIDO 2005 in Milan, Italy. Thai Optical Group launched Excelite TVX, its high impact resistant lens attracted lots of attention from visitors. “Excelite TVX” is a high impact resistant lens, developed by TOG’s R&D team, to coincide with the announcement of US Food and Drug Administration policy to require optical professionals to offer children under 18, in need of eyeglasses, to use this kind of lens. At present, TOG is one of only 3 manufacturers, able to produce such high impact resistant lenses.

MIDO is the International Exhibition of Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology that has been held annually in Milan since 1970. The fair has made its mark on the international stage, as the leading optical event.
