Normal Refractive Lenses |

Excelite1.50 plastic lens with a refractive index of 1.50 is made from ADC monomer, which is widely used for generic plastic lenses. CR-39 is the trade name of ADC registered by PPG. TOG is certified as a Licensed CR-39 Lens Caster, awarded by PPG, to manufacture 1.50 plastic lenses from the CR-39 material in single vision, bifocal flattop, progressive SupraPro, Discovery Series, Freedom Series and Sports Single Vision. |
High Refractive Lenses |

1.60/42 index produces thinner, lighter and more comfortable to wear lenses. It reduces thickness by about 20-25%, compared with standard plastic lenses. In addition to this, the lens is made from a specific version of the 1.60 monomer, resulting in high temperature resistance, meaning distortion-free surface power lenses. Excelite 1.60/42 (42 signifies the Abbe Number) is coated with index matching lacquer, to eliminate chromatic aberration. Excelite 1.60/42 is available in single vision, progressive Discovery series and the Freedom series.

Hyper Refractive Lenses |

The hyper refractive lenses, index 1.67, are up to 60% thinner and lighter than regular plastic lenses. A more natural vision that is clearer, sharper and easier to adjust to. Thanks to the aspheric design,lenses are not only thinner, but also flatter, with optimal performance. Excelite 1.67 is available in progressive Freedom Series and Sports ATR.

Ultra High Refractive Lenses |

The most advanced technology in vision are the ultra high refractive lenses, index 1.71. With high tensile strength, they are ideally suited for drill-mounted frames, without cracking, crazing or breaking. This top of the line lens material has proven to be virtually half the thickness and lightweight of standard plastic lenses, providing an elegant look and feel. Excelite 1.71 is available in progressive Freedom Solace, Freedom Plus, Sports ATR and Sports SV.

High Impact Resistant Lenses

High impact resistant lenses made from the Trivex material offer three significant advantages, namely crisp and clear vision, strong and safe durability and outstanding lightness. Excelite TVX lenses are recommended for children and anybody with an active lifestyle, who needs durable, light eyewear. Photochromic Lenses |

The quality vision of Excelite lenses is perfectly complimented by the performance photochromics of Transitions. Excelite Transitions not only provide clear and comfortable sight indoors and out, but also protect against 100% of UVA and UVB, prolonging good eye health. These lenses respond rapidly to changing light and fade significantly faster when back indoors. Available materials are 1.50 and 1.60/42, with 2 choices of colors in grey and brown. |

Polarized Lenses |

Eliminating reflection glare, polarized lenses help towards sharper and clearer vision, without the obstruction of annoying harsh light. The Excelite Polarview lenses filter 100% of UV radiation up to 400nm and are made with a high density polarized film, providing greater polarization performance. The color of the lens itself does not necessarily need to be intensely dark, in order to filter better, as the tint only reduces brightness not glare. Available colors are grey, brown and green, in single vision, Progressive Discovery series and Freedom Series. |
