TOG establish for expanding organic lenses
production line as the Pracharktam family
formerly has mineral lenses business under the
name of Thai Optical Company Limited (the subsidiary company), since 1961.
TOG distributes both domestic and foreign countries.
TOG’s factory is in the area of 20 Rai which locate on
15/5 Moo6,Bangbuathong-Suphanburi Road, Laharn,
Bangbuathhong, Nonthaburi Province.
In 2009, TOG bought a land to expand its production
capacity. The new 4 storey factory, covering 6,000
square meters of space, and it will use for some
production lines which has moved from the old place.
TOG has used “Lean manufacturing ” system with
production management and estimate that this
system will reduce the production costs by 15 % ,
which can serve the amount of purchasing orders in
the future from TOG’s alliances. For the old factory,
will be renovated in order to suit the other
production lines in 2010.
At present, TOG has the amount of registered capital
is 475 Million Baht, which is the paid- up capital
469.57 Million Baht, and remains unpaid of 5.43
Million Baht due to the reservation of 5.43 Million
shares for supporting the right to use purchase
warrant. Now nobody uses their right because the
Company determines to act until April 7, 2014.
Nature of Business of TOG:
Thai Optical Group Public Company Limited and its Subsidiary Companies manufacture and distribute optical lenses. Products can be divided into 4 groups:
- Organic lenses sub-divided into 4 categories:
1.1 CR39®
1.2 Photochromic Lenses
1.3 High Index Lenses
1.4 High Impact Resistant Lenses
- Mineral Lenses
- Prescription Lenses or Rx Lenses
- Other products and services such as
Glass Molds, lens coating and multi-coating

Equipment Manufacturer) basis, and under
